PHOTOS & VIDEO: Two MAJOR Celebrities Were Filming in Magic Kingdom Today!

Disney World has a lot of special things going on for the holiday season, including an After Hours event in Magic Kingdom, the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, and a special nighttime show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

But, if you can’t make it into the parks during the holiday season, you can also enjoy some of the festivities from your own home with several Disney holiday specials on TV. And, today we spotted filming for one of these specials, and you’ll never guess WHO was on stage!

We’ve seen several celebrities in Disney World lately with all the holiday filming going on, but it’s still so exciting to spot someone famous in the parks. And, while we were making our way around Magic Kingdom this morning, we spotted Derek and Julianne Hough filming near Cinderella Castle!

The sibling pair were both on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars and, since then, they’ve been continuing their careers as dancers and actors.

Derek and Julianne recently hosted The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, which aired on November 28th and it looks like they might be preparing for Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade now too.

The Christmas Day special airs on ABC on December 25th at 10AM EST, but you can also catch it the next day on Hulu if you miss the live event.

Later in the day, we found out that the holiday special wasn’t the only filming that the Houghs had planned in Disney World! Derek Hough posted this video in front of the Cinderella Castle to his TikTok.
