Today has been a wild day filled with holiday announcements from Disney World!

We found out about the new After Hours event replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, got more details on the 2021 Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, and got several announcements on celebrations coming to the other parks and resorts. But buried within today’s announcements was a very strange message…and we don’t quite know what it means.

Today, Disney dropped some fresh details on all the holiday merchandise we can expect to shop for later this year, including home products, Minnie ears, and other fun accessories. However, buried deep in the article was a rather interesting announcement about a fan-favorite character, Jack Skellington.

Disney noted that we all know Jack Skellington for his Christmas and Halloween adventures, but “even The Pumpkin King needs a holiday every once in a while.” This July, we can expect to find Jack on summer vacation and we get to join him! According to Disney, more information is coming soon on how “you can hang ten with Jack and his misfit crew this summer season at Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club.”

What could this mean?

First of all, what a name! Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club? That’s a mouthful. To us, it sounds like a special event that Disney could be hosting, and since they mentioned July as the date, we can likely expect to get more information VERY soon.

But where will this event take place? Considering “hang ten” is used in the phrase, we have to wonder if Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is somehow involved! After all, we’ve seen special water park events in the past with the H2O Glow Nights. However, the name could also imply a new merchandise collection, so we’ll have to wait to hear more from Disney!
