Disney World is full of great places to eat!

Whether you’re headed to Disney Springs for a night out, staying in your resort, or going into the parks, you’ll be able to find delicious food pretty much everywhere. We’ve been sharing our favorites with our readers for a while, but recently, the Orlando Sentinel put out their list of best restaurants, and several Disney spots made the list!
Today, we give congratulations to several Disney World restaurants as they were honored in the Orlando Sentinel’s 2020 Foodie Awards! Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle made a post on his Instagram today congratulating the winners.
As mentioned in the post, Disney took home several victories in the category of Best Theme Park Restaurant. Tiffins in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park took home the prize for Critic’s Choice, with special mention going to the restaurant’s adjacent bar, Nomad Lounge.

Runners up for the Critic’s category included Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom and Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in EPCOT. The critic cited unique eats and a fun atmosphere as the reason for Skipper Canteen, and value and “decadence” as the reasons for Les Halles.

In the same category, the readers’ restaurant of choice was Be Our Guest Restaurant at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This comes as no surprise, considering how popular a destination it is! One of the runners-up for the readers was The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Several Disney World restaurants earned honors in other categories as well. Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian took home the Readers’ Choice for “Best Splurge” and Boma — Flavors of Africa at Animal Kingdom Lodge won the Readers’ Choice for “Best African.”

Raglan Road Irish Pub at Disney Springs was a double-hitter, taking home the top spot as the Critic’s Choice and the Readers’ Choice for “Best Irish.” Looks like this is the place to be for quality Irish food!

Besides all these, two other dining locations were runners up in the Readers’ Choice category for their groups. Biergarten Restaurant in EPCOT took home the honor for “Best German” and Wine Bar George at Disney Springs got it for “Best Wine Bar.”

Next time you’re in Disney World, make sure to stop by these restaurants and try them out, they just prove that there is plenty of great food to be had in many places on the property! Until then, stay tuned to AllEars for the latest in Disney food news!
