Another Reservation-Based Shopping Event is Coming Soon to Downtown Disney

Although Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure, as well as the Disneyland Resort Hotels, remain closed at the moment, we’ve made a few trips over to Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District. 

Recently, a special shopping event was held in Downtown Disney, giving guests the opportunity to get some exclusive, limited edition pins. Now, Disneyland has arranged for another special shopping event with a spookier side.

Guests looking to get some extra special merchandise can try to make a reservation for the new exclusive Disneyland Resort Shopping event. This next event will be held September 14th through September 16th. 

To make a reservation, you’ll want to go to the Disneyland Resort Shopping Reservation website. There, you’ll see the featured items that will be available during this event. First, guests will be able to purchase a Fidget Bat Pin featuring Fidget from The Great Mouse Detective.

The pin celebrates Bat Day 2020. The pin will be $17.99 plus tax and there is a limit of 2 per shopping reservation, while supplies last.

Guests will also have the chance to purchase the Haunted Mansion Funko Pop! of Victor Geist.

This will also be limited to a purchase of 2 per reservation, and each one will be $39.99 plus tax.

When we first tried to make a reservation, it told us that there was no availability on any of the shopping dates.

But, when we checked back later, some availability seems to have opened up — so be sure to check the website often to see if you are able to snag a reservation to do some shopping.

Just like the last event, you will select the time window within which you’d like to do your shopping. You’ll also need to provide a credit card in order to book your reservation. You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation if you want to avoid a cancellation fee.

On your designated shopping day, you will need to arrive at your reservation time and check-in at the designated location in Downtown Disney. You should be prepared to present your reservation confirmation, a photo ID, and the credit card you used to book the reservation. The event is limited to one guest per reservation, and merchandise may be limited.
