It’s been quite the party seeing Mickey Mouse look so fabulous during his Character Cavalcade appearances.

However, D23 has been celebrating Mickey’s rich history throughout the entire year with a whole line of plushes. While we’ve already seen a Hawaiian Mickey, Movie Star Mickey, a Rainbow Mickey, and more, the next one’s bound to get your engines going!

The next plush in D23’s Mickey series will be chugging online on August 10th at 9AM PST. And the August Plush is throwing things back to the very beginning of Mickey’s fabulous career!

While Mickey has come a long way, it’s important to remember the humble start of the mouse with the most. The eighth plush in the series will commemorate some of Mickey’s popular appearances as a captain in “Boat Builders” (1938), “Tugboat Mickey” (1940), and the iconic, well-loved “Steamboat Willie” (1928).

The Captain Mickey Mouse Plush showcases nautical icons all over the linen fabric, along with a striped swimsuit and gold embroidered buttons to add an extra bit of pizazz. The 16-inch plush also comes with embroidered eyes, a gold and satin foot patch, and a Certificate of Authenticity.

D23 members will be giving access to purchase the plush through Amazon when Captain Mickey goes live in just a few days!
