Many traditional movie theaters around the country are planning to reopen soon. However most major film releases have been pushed back.

Disney recently pushed back some film releases over the next few years, including previously announced Avatar sequels.
The first major motion picture that was set to release this summer was Christopher Nolan’s Tenet from Warner Bros. Originally set to release in the US in July, according to Variety, Tenet has now been pushed back to September. The film will be released across Europe and Asia (except for China) starting on August 26th, before being released in select US theaters Tenet on September 3rd.

Tenet will be breaking from traditional set date and day release schedule around the world due to theater closures. With the Summer blockbusters not existing this year, Warner Bros. is hoping to take advantage of some of the re-opening foreign film markets.

We will continue to keep you updated on any further developments on the film industry, along with new release dates and reopening!
