Sure, we may still be eating leftover Halloween candy — but Disney is in full-on Christmas mode on November 1! The Contemporary Resort‘s Gingerbread Cookie Castle made its debut this morning!

The Fairy Godmother has waved her wand and “bibbidi bobbidi boo” we’ve got Cinderella and Prince Charming standing outside their Gingerbread Castle!

This is the same design we saw last year with a nod to Mary Blair’s style of art as well as her “it’s a small world” attraction.

If you ever wondered what it takes to make a display like this — it takes a lot! A lot of sugar, eggs, honey, flour, modeling chocolate, and more! That’s before you count the 10 days to assemble the display! This year’s display includes 10 hidden symbols from Frozen and “it’s a small world”. We think we spotted one in the picture below — is that a not-so-hidden hula girl from “it’s a small world”?

Like last year, the display is finished off with Cinderella’s glass slipper.

The Contemporary is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Gingerbread Display with a special pin. Plus, if you are around later today you can meet the chef and have him sign your pin!

A new special edition ornament and mug featuring the Fairy Godmother are also available at the food/merchandise shop located next to the display.

Now, on to the sweet stuff you can eat! The stand is selling an assortment of pre-packaged and freshly baked items. This year a plant-based gingerbread loaf has been added.

We also spotted a new Cookie Box celebrating the display’s anniversary.

Of course, we had to find out what was in this box! The box includes a linzer, chocolate peppermint, gingerbread, and chocolate chip pecan cookie.
