Epcot Food and Wine Festival Offers Tailgate Tasting

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will host a new Food & Wine Tailgate Tasting hosted by ESPN’s Monday Night Football on a series of upcoming Monday afternoons.

The 45-minute program will pair tailgating-type foods and beverages that have been elevated just a bit for this special tasting, such as smoked brie mac and cheese served with a tropical mimosa. Each afternoon, you’ll be able to enjoy a flight of three small plates inspired by the cities playing in the game each week along with three different beverages, while learning from culinary experts about how to prepare these dishes.

The Food & Wine Tailgate Tasting is a complimentary program and will be offered on September 17, 24 and October 1, 8 and 15 from 4:30-5:15 p.m. in the Festival Center. (The first tasting was this past Monday, September 10.)

If you’re interested in attending, be sure to stop by the Festival Center starting at 9 a.m. Monday morning to pick up a wristband for that afternoon’s tasting. All guests in your party must be present to receive their wristbands. Wristbands and seating at the event are available on a first-come/first-served basis.
