The company also continued to confirm that the sale of Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC) is underway and expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. According to the Wall Street Journal, the sale totaled to $331 Million in cash. They also detailed that these contribute to the company’s efforts to focus on their more profitable parks as well as pay down some debt the company has accrued.  “This portfolio refinement further positions Six Flags to execute more effectively in 2026 and beyond, and I am confident in the opportunities ahead as we continue taking steps to drive improved operating performance, margin expansion, free cash flow generation, and earnings growth,” said Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly.

According to the statement released by the company, EPR is going to partner with Enchanted Parks to run the 6 properties they purchased. EPR can utilize the Six Flags brand through the end of 2026. They also confirmed the parks will continue with their “regular operating schedules, and all season passes sold will be recognized through the 2026 operating season, including multi-park pass privileges at other parks within the Six Flags’ portfolio.”
