Sneak Peek at the NEW 'Jurassic World' Land Coming to Universal Kids Resort

There’s a NEW Universal theme park coming to town, and by town, we mean TEXAS.

Universal Kids Resort is a new theme park and hotel experience coming to Frisco, and Universal has been a little bit hush-hush about it, despite it being set to open THIS year. We’ve gotten some basic information about the lands and some of their attractions, but now Universal has shared a closer look at Jurassic World.

In Universal Kids Resort, there will be seven themed lands, and one of those is Jurassic World Adventure Camp, a way for younger kids to enjoy the thrills and DINO-mite fun of Jurassic World (see what I did there? 😂).

This land will have a few different attractions — one inspired by the character DNA that will “take you to new heights,” one that’s a kids’ free-fall ride, and a kids’ coaster called “Cretaceous Coaster.” There’s also going to be a playground/play area AND meet-and-greets with baby velociraptors. Much less scary than their larger counterparts!

Universal just shared a first look inside the land with a video on Instagram. Check it out below!

The video shows peeks at Sierra, a baby raptor, as well as the kids’ coaster and some Jurassic World theming around the land. It looks like it’s going to be a blast for dino-loving kiddos!
