Did Disney Just Sneakily Drop News About the Boo To You Halloween Parade?

We’ve got super fun news out of Disney World, especially for those of you who love the resort’s parades.

One of our favorite parts of the spooky season is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we make sure we get a great spot for the Boo-To-You Parade since it’s such a hit each year. If you’ve had a dream of being involved in the parade as a performer with Disney, now might be your chance!

The Disney Auditions Instagram page has just announced that auditions are now open for male-presenting performers to be part of multiple different parades around the resort. Specifically, the casting call lists that, “Parade performers will showcase our roles in various productions, including Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade; The Festival of the Lion King; and more.” However, what really caught our eye is that one of the photos Disney used is from the Boo-To-You Parade — is this a hint that Disney could ALREADY be hiring for those roles?

We’re thinking it’s highly likely! Regardless, auditions will be held on March 11th in-person backstage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Performers must be between 5’3” and 6’1”, as well as have past experience and/or training in dance. Additionally, Disney states that all performers will also “perform as fully costumed Disney Characters in our Parks and Resorts.” It sounds like Disney is hiring for A LOT of roles!

While we don’t have dates just yet for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party yet this year, we normally see dates drop around May. This is an extremely popular event, filled with exclusive snacks, entertainment, trick-or-treating, and more, so if it’s one you want to experience, don’t wait to snag tickets when they release! Most all nights sell out at least a week in advance, so finding tickets the week of (especially the day of) is nearly impossible — you’ll want to plan well in advance to be in the best shape!
