CONFIRMED: Orlando International Airport is Getting NEW Nonstop Flight

If you travel to or from the Orlando International Airport, you’ll be happy to know about all the big changes coming to the airport.

First, the airport experience is about to seriously improve, thanks to a number of new projects that will happen over the next three years. However, new nonstop flights continue to get added to the airport, too, meaning you have more options than ever. Well, a new international nonstop flight is coming to Orlando International Airport soon.

According to The Orlando Business Journal, Spanish airline Iberia will start nonstop flights to and from Madrid, Spain, this summer from Orlando. Iberia will offer three flights per week to Orlando International Airport starting on March 19th as part of the start of its summer service.

So if you’ve been dreaming of a vacation in Spain, this could be the sign to book it.

If you do book the trip, it will take you around eight and a half hours. Prices will range anywhere from $586 per person to more than $1,000, depending on when you book and what seats you book. The airline has added this new service this summer, with plans to offer 19% more seats this year as opposed to last year. The airline also has plans to expand its fleet.

Around 57.6 million people traveled through Orlando International Airport in 2025, a 0.8% increase from 2024. Around 8.4 million of those people were international visitors, which is up 8% from the previous year and an all-time high for the airport.
