Huge Change Announced for Popular Disney Visa Perk

Anyone else use the Disney Visa Cardmember perks inside the Disney theme parks?

From restaurant discounts to exclusive characters, there are many perks you should be taking advantage of as a Disney Visa Cardmember. However, one of these perks is changing in a few months, and we wanted to give you a heads up!

First of all, Disney just revealed that four of the OG Star Wars characters — Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Darth Vader — are coming to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort. There are other changes like the inclusion of more John Williams music from the films, but the characters are important because they impact a popular Visa perk!

Over in Tomorrowland, you can currently meet Darth Vader at the Disney Visa Cardmember exclusive meet and greet area. Well, with Darth Vader’s quest to find Luke Skywalker, he will be heading to Galaxy’s Edge as of April 29th! So, what happens to this character experience?

Disney is swapping one villainous Star Wars character for another, because Kylo Ren will be taking Darth Vader’s place at the Visa meet and greet spot. We’ve enjoyed seeing him roam Batuu for years, searching for Rey and messing with visitors of the planet, but he’s about to get a brand new home.

This is a pretty limited experience, so if you want to take advantage, grab your Disney Visa (you’ll need to show it for entry), and head to Star Wars Launch Bay. At the time of writing, the hours are 2 PM to 6 PM for this meet and greet, but we’ll have to see if that changes when Kylo Ren takes over.
