Sleeping in Disney World may seem easy since you’ll likely be exhausted after walking miles and miles outside each day, but there’s one thing that may stand in your way.

That’s NOISE. Disney World is a pretty noisy place, even outside of the parks. The hotels aren’t known for being the quietest, especially if you’re staying at a Value Resort. There’s a fantastic solution, though, one that we’ve tried out numerous times in the parks now (and at home), and can’t get enough of, and the best part? It’s small enough to fit in your palm!
We’ll be totally honest — when we first decided to try out the Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine, we weren’t expecting the results to be anything groundbreaking. In fact, our reporter was actually really thinking they’d hate it. However, that was FAR from what happened.

This has “pocket” in the name for a reason — it’s TINY but very mighty, that’s for sure! It has 32 different levels of noise, so you can find which one works perfectly for you. There are also 16 different nature sounds to choose from, ranging from ocean waves, rain, birds, fan sounds, and white noise, which will help mask that background noise that can keep you awake without you even knowing it.

You can also choose to set the timer for 30, 60, or 90 minutes, if you’d like, or you can have it play all night without the timer on. We found it to be very easy to use and press the buttons (unless you’ve got long nails, keep that in mind!), and after using it for one night, our reporter could already tell she had slept better. After two nights, her kids were asking to use it again the next night, because it helped them sleep better too!

Not only is this great to use at night in Disney World, but you can also use it for naps and midday rests, as you’ll need to sleep just as well then to be rested for the rest of the day. Both kiddos AND adults can benefit from it, and you can continue to use it at home too!

Even if you’re someone who usually doesn’t have trouble sleeping, but you are nervous about the level of noise you may be facing, we say this is absolutely worth grabbing for your trip — ESPECIALLY if you’re staying at a Value Resort with those thinner walls!
We’re trying out new products in Disney World each and every week to bring you our honest reviews so you can prepare for your trip without wasting money, so stay tuned to AllEars!
