If you’ve been sleeping on LEGOLAND Florida, you might just be missing out. LEGOLAND has a lot of fun rides and activities for people of all ages, and is about to get even better.

LEGOLAND has previously released some details about its upcoming new ride, Galacticoaster, the first indoor coaster built inside the park since its opening in 2011. Now we know when that new coaster will open.
Galacticoaster will first launch from Spaceport 885 on February 27th, 2026. The new family-friendly ride will have you board a customizable LEGO spacecraft to “launch into an interstellar mission packed with thrills, immersive storytelling, and cosmic LEGO fun through the LEGO Galaxy.”

Galacticoaster starts in the Briefing Room, where you’ll meet Chief Engineer Biff Dipper, who will be welcoming you to Galaxy Command. You’ll then proceed to grab an RFID wristband and personalize your spacecraft on an interactive touchscreen in the Customization Bay.
There are four build phases to customization: nose, tail, wings, and special features. There will be more than 625 possible spacecraft combinations. Then it’s time to hop in your ship and go. You’ll see your customized ship during the ride as you blast off through “an intergalactic LEGO solar system filled with special effects, synchronized lighting, and surprise appearances from classic LEGO Space icons.” You may even see a space cow!
Once your mission is complete, you can visit Orbital Outpost, where you can purchase space-themed souvenirs. There’s also the nearby TotSpot, a play zone designed for tiny astronauts.

Want to be one of the first to ride Galacticoaster? LEGOLAND Florida Annual Passholders will get first dibs to ride before it officially opens.
