Let’s just be real and say it plainly. Disney World is expensive, and prices are rising every year. While it can feel inaccessible, it doesn’t have to be.

You might see the headlines about thousands of price hikes (which are true), but don’t let that deter you from hitting up the parks. As a former Cast Member, I know there are tons of ways to save before and during your trip, and I’m spilling all of the best discounts right here.
For many, Disney is a once in a life time experience because of the rising costs to visit the theme park. I was lucky enough to grow up going to the parks every few years before working for the company and eventually finding a career that lets me talk, live, and breathe Disney. Through this lifelong love and career, I have seen the parks get steadily more expensive, shutting out many families from experiencing the magic.

While it might feel like it’s becoming harder and harder to go, there are ways to make Disney more affordable if you know where to look. There are some discounts that are exclusive, while there are others that anyone can utilize! Starting off with discounts for everyone, we recommend talking with a Travel Agent!
As a general rule, it’s always a good idea to ask when purchasing items or booking events if they offer a specific discount. And if you never want to miss out on a discount, consider booking with a travel agent. We recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

Travel Agents can hunt for discounts you might not even know about, which will save you the most in the long run. Each year, Disney also offers limited-time discounts for everyone attending the parks (with several caveats). In 2026, you can find deals like the Early 2026 Discount. This allows you to save up to $250 per night on a 4-Night, 4-Day Room & Ticket Package at select Disney World resort hotels for most stays between February 22nd and July 25th, 2026. Other savings are available most nights between January 4th and February 19th, 2026!

The Spring 2026 Discount can save you up to 25% at select Disney World resort hotels for most stays between February 22nd and July 25th, 2026. Other savings are available most nights between January 4th and February 19th, 2026.

Another big discount in 2026 is the Free Dining Plan for Kids (Ages 3 to 9). This is valid with the purchase of a Disney World vacation package that includes a room at a Disney World resort hotel and Dining Plan for all guests age 10 and up in the travel party for travel dates in 2026. It can be a serious money saver when your kids can dine for free!

Now, those discounts are ones almost everyone can partake in, but what about the exclusive ones that can help you save big? First up, Annual Passholders can score major discounts. If you’re going to Disney more than once or twice a year, Annual Passes can help you save a bit on tickets. (That’s not the best reason to get them, though.) Annual Passes also give you access to lots of discounts!

Annual Passholders can save up to 20% on merchandise as well as varying discounts on dining, tickets, and hotel stays. In Spring 2026, Passholders can save up to 35% at select Disney World resort hotels for most stays between February 22nd and April 30th, 2026. Other savings are available most nights between January 4th and February 19th, 2026! You can also get access to select souvenirs, snacks, and more.

The same can be said for Disney Vacation Club Members! DVC Members can receive discounts on golf, shopping, spa treatments (at Saratoga Springs), and Annual Passes. Dining discounts at select restaurants are occasionally offered (usually 10% – 20%) for members, and discounted tickets are available for the water parks. Plus, you can grab reduced room rates at DVC resorts if staying on a cash reservation!

If you’re a military member, I have good news! Another big way to save is the Disney Military Member Discounts. For active and retired military personnel, you can take advantage of Disney’s exclusive hotel, Shades of Green. They also offer rotating hotel, tickets, dining, and even cruise line discounts, so be sure to ask every time you check out about the discounts they offer.

If you’re a Florida resident, you can save BIG if you know where to look. Florida Residents typically get the best ticket deals throughout the year, as well as hotel room discounts. You won’t get merchandise cheaper or food, but those room and ticket costs can make for a major deal.

This is also where I have to shout out Cast Member discounts! This saved me so much money at the parks when I worked there. This discount applies to merchandise and can rotate to dining and food as well. Always be sure to check The Hub (the Cast Member website) for what discounts are good each month, because I got 40% off at several table service restaurants during my time at the company. It’s not all the time, but you can find some good deals if you keep your eyes peeled.

One discount we would bet you’ve never heard of is the Magical Extras Booklet! Magical Extras are available to those who book Disney World vacation packages or hotel rooms, and they’re Disney’s way of sweetening the pot that comes with staying at one of their hotels. You can find over 30 Magical Extras available at any one time, depending on the date of your visit. Hotel guests can receive four vouchers per vacation package for one 18-hole round of miniature golf at either Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf or Winter Summerland Miniature Golf! This has saved us over $180 during one trip before! Don’t sleep on it.
