Over the years, we’ve started putting some pretty dang weird things in our suitcases when heading to Disney World.

When you’ve been to the parks hundreds of times, like we have, you start accumulating all kinds of gadgets, gizmos, whozits, and whatzits (we get you, Ariel) to make your experience better. And today, we’re sharing some of our strangest top picks!
Starting out the list, we’ve got this Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine that’s a must for a noisy hotel. With possibly rowdy guests staying nearby, construction happening at several resorts, and an unfamiliar sleeping environment, this thing will help increase your sleep quality with some simple soothing sounds.

If you’re used to sleeping with white noise or a fan on at home, this is a can’t-miss item. And it’s extra helpful if you’re traveling with little ones — we want them to get the best rest possible!
We’ve tried many a rechargeable fan in the theme parks, but this one is something else! The AMKEN Waist Fan got very popular in Disney World in summer 2025 because it clips easily onto your belt or waistband to keep you cool all day.

It has a 24-hour rechargeable battery and 3 speeds to meet all your cooling needs. The hands-free thing is a really great added bonus.
Okay, this is where things start to get a little strange. We recently tested out the VentaPak Lightweight Ventilation Backpack Spacer and loved it! Even though it looks a little obnoxious and bulky, this thing is a lifesaver if you hate having a sweaty back from carrying around a park bag all day.

It also helps evenly distribute the weight of large backpacks so your back and shoulders aren’t aching after a long day in the parks. If you’re a heavy packer, this could make your days MUCH easier.
Finally, we’ve got to sing the praises of the GRIFITI Band Joes X Cross Style Rubber Bands. These are a very convenient accessory for people who bring their refillable popcorn buckets to the parks.

Simply snap one of these bad boys around your popcorn bucket and lid, and BOOM, no more random spills when your bucket gets jostled around on a ride. Keeps that lid securely sealed on top so you can trust that your snacks will stay put!
We’ll continue to test out more products in the park and let you know what works for your vacation. In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
