NEWS: Florida Airport Adds MORE Nonstop Routes

Florida is a hot destination spot, thanks to theme parks like Disney World and Universal Orlando, as well as LEGOLAND Florida and SeaWorld Orlando.

Flying to Tampa?

However, a lot of visitors also visit Tampa to visit Busch Gardens, which means they fly into Tampa International Airport. Well, for those flying into Tampa, 12 new international nonstop flights have just been added.

Tampa International Airport just recently confirmed 12 nonstop flights every week to and from Panama City on Copa Airlines. Tampa International Airport called these additions the “highest level of service to date at TPA.”

Tampa International Airport was recently nominated for five USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards: best large airport, best airport for art, best airport for dining, best airport sit-down restaurant, and best airport grab-and-go food.

The airport also offers flights to 20 international destinations. You can also fly from Tampa to Orlando, although a potential expansion of the Brightline train from Tampa to Orlando could make things even easier, affordable, and more convenient. Although this route has not yet been approved, business leaders in the area have spoken out in support of the route. This means it could be easy to add Busch Gardens to your next Disney World trip and vice versa.
