Disney Shares FIRST LOOK at a Brand-New ‘Moana’ Inspired Restaurant!

A NEW Moana restaurant is opening in September, and Disney just shared a first look at what we can expect.

We are at the Destination D23 Expo to bring you all the news, and we have some exciting news about a restaurant opening in less than a month.

A brand-new Moana-inspired restaurant is set to open at Hong Kong Disneyland on September 12th! We got a look at some concept art for this new restaurant, and we can’t wait. It is full of fun Moana details, and we are loving all the gorgeous flowers.

We also learned about something else that is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland! There will also be a NEW villains party coming soon. From September 19th until November 2nd, you can join in on a villainous time as the villains take over Hong Kong Disneyland for “Uninvited! A Villain Takeover Party.” The party will feature a cavalcade, street party, and a musical spectacular.

But that is not all! Hong Kong Disneyland is also celebrating its 20th Anniversary, and the festivities are happening right now! The celebration kicked off on June 28th and it runs through May 2026. There are live entertainment offerings like the “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!’, “Friendtastic!” Parade, and a nighttime show called “Momentous: Party in the Sky.” Plus, there are 80 new food and drinks and more than 300 pieces of merchandise to celebrate!
