There are a lot of different options when it comes to staying on Disney Property, and it can be hard to know what the best options are. Believe it or not, even when staying at Disney, you don’t have to stay with Disney.

There are seven hotels near Disney Springs that are technically on Disney property but are managed by outside companies. Disney has vetted them as quality hotels, but can you save a few bucks if you avoid the classic Disney hotels?
Let’s first talk about the Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels you can choose from. You might have seen these while driving by Disney Springs and thought they looked a bit different from the rest.

There are seven to choose from:
-
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando
- Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
- Holiday Inn Orlando
- Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa
- Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista
With popular brands like Hilton, you can use your reward points that you earn all over the country and take advantage of perks and benefits. You can also feel great staying with brands you know and continue to build your loyalty points.

What about the prices? Even though they are official Walt Disney World Resorts, being operated by different companies allows them to manage their own prices.
Here’s a look at some entry-level rates:
-
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando — $138/night
- Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando — $127/night
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace — $209/night
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista — $192/night
- Holiday Inn Orlando — $85/night
- Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa — $79/night
- Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista — $82/night

Taking a look at a value resort like Disney’s All-Star Sports Resorts, you can pay about $192/night, and that’s generally the cheapest resort on property. Looks like the Disney Springs Resorts are for the win!

What are you missing out on if you’re staying at these resorts? Well, not much! There are tons of perks!
There’s usually free transportation to the parks, restaurants, pools, and some are even pet friendly, making it even easier to bring the whole family along. Being right on property, it’s easy to get wherever you need to, although it might not be as convenient as a hotel directly attached to the parks like the Contemporary or the BoardWalk.

Negatives? Well, you might have to pay for parking, which is one of our favorite parts of staying at a Disney hotel. You also might not get as immersive an experience, and if you were to have issues or want to upgrade in the middle of your stay, you might have more issues being disconnected from Disney.

Staying at a resort in the Disney Springs area can be a great way to save some money while still being close to the parks. You can even walk to Disney Springs and enjoy dinner there and take the transportation to other resorts.

Some of them charge resort fees as well plus parking fees it may 2x room rate so watch out. But some include breakfast and it’s a nice walk to dis springs
Better warn people that some add on a resort fee and a parking fee. Then at least on one of those hotels you have to schedule bus transportation. In the end, this may not be a best choice.
Good point. And most of the hotels don’t post their resort or parking fees…
