When you’re a Disney adult for as long as we have, you end up with a LOT of interesting things in your closet that are hard to explain to people who aren’t in the Disney sphere.

We’ve got Disneybounds everywhere, tons of park maps, and photos galore, but we reached out to our team and asked them what the WILDEST things they have in their closets are, and we knew we had to share them with you. Let’s just say, we’re a little bit embarrassed.
One of our coworkers kicked off the chat with “So. Many. Stitch. Plushies. I would take a picture for proof but I’m actually embarrassed.” To which we all replied that we indeed needed to see a photo IMMEDIATELY, and she did send one to us, but she wanted us to preface that the majority of them were purchased by her husband when he worked at the Disney Store, but hey, we don’t judge either way!

Speaking of plushies, I (JP here, hello!) am proud to own a collection of DinoRama dinosaurs that I won (well, one I bought of eBay for an embarrassing amount of money) in Animal Kingdom before the area was closed to make way for Tropical Americas. I’ve got one of each kind! (If you can guess which one I had to buy, I’ll be very impressed).

Another one of our writer/reporters shared that she has a map/wristband/character meal postcard from every special event she’s been to in the parks and has them displayed in her office!

How cool is that? It spans all four Disney World parks, as well as Disneyland! We can only imagine how it’ll continue to grow, and will have to make sure she gives us more photos as it does.

I’ve personally also got a pretty wild collection of Disney Doorables that I’m still obsessed with. In fact, I found the Inside Out 2 collection on sale the other day and put it in my cart faster than what should be appropriate for a 24-year-old woman.

Multiple members of our team also have kept all the celebration buttons they’ve ever gotten (myself included), as well as special event memorabilia. I’ve only got mine to show, but many of us on the team have cork boards just like this!

Other fun additions our team had to offer that we don’t have photos of but we HAD to include are:
- A frightening talking Mickey popcorn bucket
- A Jessie cowgirl hat
- Parts of a Kronk & Yzma costume
- All 50 of the Disney World 50th Anniversary McDonald’s Figurines
- Handwritten letters, little drawings, and arts and crafts from kiddos to character pals (if you know, you know)
- The little sketches they used to leave in resort rooms to welcome your family
- A hoard of H2O products
- A fridge covered in Annual Passholder magnets

On the 4th photo there is a Figment bookmark from the 2022 Festival of the Arts. I have the same bookmark in the book I’m currently reading. (Which is from the Twisted Disney series.)
