REVIEW: This $3 Upgrade Is a Disney Ice Cream GAME-CHANGER

Disney Springs has so many amazing options!

There are tons of restaurants, so almost everyone can find something they would enjoy. If you’re looking for something unique and sweet, Salt and Straw is the spot to go to, and we’re here to check out these adventurous eats.

If you haven’t been to Salt and Straw, you might not know that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill ice cream shop. This shop offers so many unique flavors that utilize ingredients like goat cheese, olive oil, cornbread, and more! You’ll never get bored when it comes to exploring here.

During our last stop, we tested out the Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper ice cream with the Strawberry Shortcake Waffle Cone Bowl! The waffle cone bowl is really what’s new at the shop. We paid $9.65 in total, but the bowl itself was $2.15.

While these flavors are sometimes a hit or miss, this one was SO good! It tasted like they had taken freeze-dried strawberries and crunched them into waffle batter. It also had a nice cinnamon flavor to pair with that bright strawberry taste. We honestly couldn’t figure out how they had managed to make these flavors so tasty and robust! 

They will actually let you try this before you order it if you’re worried you won’t like the waffle bowl. The strawberry honey balsamic ice cream was also really nice! It has a lighter strawberry flavor that mixes with the honey balsamic. The flavors are spot on, but the black pepper does sneak up on you a bit! It has a peppercorn spice to it and is ground super finely.

This ice cream with the new waffle cone paired really well, and made for a perfectly pink picture! We would happily get both again.
