REVIEW: The Worst Looking New Snack in Disney World Actually Tastes INCREDIBLE

With the arrival of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’ve seen some new snacks pop up around the park to celebrate the villains!

Over at Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Boulevard, you can grab yourself a sweet treat before seeing Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage or Unfairly Ever After, and if you’re going for the latter, you may want to try out the NEW cone they have right now!

The Maleficent Cone will cost you $8.49 and is currently only available at this location! It’s made with Butter Pecan Ice Cream topped with Red Sugar and Chocolate Horns served in a Lavender Waffle Cone dipped in Green Sugar.

While this started melting IMMEDIATELY when it was handed to us, we enjoyed it more than we thought we would! We loved the pieces of pecans inside the creamy ice cream, and the sugar on top helped give it an additional crunch as well. Is it a melty, ugly mess? Yes. Did we love the flavor? YES!

The real pieces of pecans made all the difference to us, so it was a real winner in our book. The chocolate pieces on top are a nice touch, and we do get the tiniest bit of additional flavor from the cone, but we don’t think it could exactly be described as a lavender flavor.

While we think it tastes delicious, we just don’t see how you can realistically enjoy it since it begins melting SO fast. Honestly, we think having it in a cup or waffle bowl would be a better fit, especially during the summer.
