REVIEW: The Best Disney World Quick-Service Breakfast Is Hiding in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

If you’re looking for a yummy breakfast spot in Disney World, there are plenty of options!

Galaxy’s Edge

We have quite a few favorites, but one spot that remains on our list is Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. Recently, we headed there to do a review and make sure that it’s still up to scratch!

Background

Ronto Roasters is one of the quick service offerings in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s located next to the marketplace area.

Ronto Roasters

This restaurant offers both in-person and Mobile Ordering. It’s open for breakfast and lunch every day, closing at 3 PM.

Menu

After 3 PM, you can find the Ronto Wrap (the restaurant’s most iconic item) over at Docking Bay 7.

Atmosphere

This is an open-air restaurant — definitely one of the smaller locations in the park. The counter has a queue for in-person ordering on the right side.

Counter-service

On the left, you’ll find order pickup, including Mobile Order. They often have a water dispenser over here as well.

Seating

The seating area isn’t very large, but there are a few tables across from the counter. This is a common area for people to walk through, so the tables can be hard to come by.

We saw a sign that said there was additional seating at Docking Bay 7, so we sat outside to enjoy our breakfast.

So what did we order?

Food & Drinks

For breakfast, we just picked up two items. First, we got the Ronto Morning Wrap for $12.79. It’s made with eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce on pita bread.

Our breakfast!

If you love Ronto Wraps, you’ll need to try the breakfast version. It’s the same sausage that has a lovely snap when you bite into it. It’s smokey and juicy, and when we got a bite with the sausage and peppercorn sauce, we were obsessed. The sauce paired really well with the sausage’s smokiness, from the bite of pepper to it.

The eggs weren’t anything to write home about, but they made the whole wrap a little more filling, making it a more substantial breakfast item. We weren’t fans of the cheese on top since it was a different temperature from the rest of the wrap. It wasn’t fully melted, which detracted from our eating experience. The pita that it’s wrapped in, though, is soft and chewy, and this is a solid breakfast for those mornings in Galaxy’s Edge.

Inside

The other item we picked up was the Rising Moons Overnight Oats for $6.99. These are made with oats, dragon fruit, yogurt, and other seasonal fruit.

Overnight Oats

These oats were creamy and had that bit of chew that oats usually give. It had a strong berry or fruit flavor with the oats, and then with the fresh fruit on top, we loved combining it for one perfect bite. The popping boba pearls added a bit of texture, and the whole meal was lighter than we can usually find in a theme park. It’s a total win if you’re looking for a healthier breakfast option.

Take a bite!

We also tried the Triple Suns Wrap for $11.79. It has plant-based eggs, smoky chickpea-onion slaw, and roasted tomato sauce all wrapped in pita bread.

Vegan wrap

Compared to the last time we ate this, the recipe had changed, and that was only for the better. While it might look small, the flavors are big! The vegan eggs didn’t have the tart flavor they used to have. The slaw is the same as the original and has a punch of spice! Combined all together, we were in love! It’s challenging to find a plant-based breakfast in the parks, and this will be our new go-to in Hollywood Studios.

Overall, breakfast at Ronto Roasters was a hit! Breakfast is hard in the theme parks, so we’re always thrilled when we find solid options that we can eat time and time again. From the wraps to the oats, we enjoyed the meal and can’t wait for our next early morning visit to Hollywood Studios.
