BIG things are happening at Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Resort and we’re bringing you all the latest updates!

While not owned by Disney, the Swan and Dolphin Resort is still a great option for many families looking for a comfortable stay at Disney World while still being able to stay super close to the theme parks. If you’re planning to stay at the Swan and Dolphin soon, there are some changes you need to know about!
We’re always checking out the latest food news from ALL of the Disney World hotels, and, as it turns out, the Swan and Dolphin have quite a few updates!

Chef Devin Queen has been promoted to executive chef at the Swan and Dolphin after having joined the resort as a sous chef at Shula’s Steak House and receiving a promotion to restaurant chef. Queen also worked as the opening restaurant chef for Il Mulino before being appointed as the Swan and Dolphin’s banquet chef.

Speaking of Shula’s, the restaurant is officially CLOSED as of June 15th, 2025. This table-service restaurant is located at the Dolphin Hotel and is owned by former Miami Dolphins football Coach Don Shula.

Taking its place will be Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, a top-notch chain steakhouse that is featured in several different luxurious restaurants! Mina is a James Beard Award-winning chef and runs The MINA Group, which manages over 40 high-end restaurants all around the world.

This food news comes on the heels of the new Lagoon Games, Lanes, and Eats opening at the Dolphin. This bowling alley/arcade/eatery opened in early April 2025 and offers a new “innovative game room experience” along with food and arcade games to go with some bowling lanes.

Here, you’ll find classic American fare like hot dogs, burgers, onion rings, and chicken sandwiches.

Finally, we know about some updates for this year’s Food & Wine Classic! This year’s event will feature 45 dishes plus 200 beverages, and you can get all you can eat included in the price of admission. We also know about some returnees like For the Love of Florida, Carnival Corner, and Chinatown.

It’s also been confirmed that celebrity chef Todd English will be making an appearance, and tickets are already on sale for $205 per person. You can save 10% if you register for both nights of the festival. You can also save with a discounted room rate by calling 1-888-828-8850 and booking. You must stay at the Dolphin, Swan, or Swan Reserve. The event will take place on November 14th and 15th, 2025.

We’ll continue to keep you posted on all kinds of Disney World hotel updates, so stay tuned right here at AllEars for the latest updates!
