Big news for those of you planning to use Mears Connect to get from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Disney World, and vice versa!

Yes, we miss Disney’s Magical Express service, especially since it was free, but Mears Connect is one of the easiest ways to get yourself to and from the airport with as little hassle as possible. You can pre-book it in advance and not worry about trying to catch a rideshare at those ever-changing prices, which makes it harder to budget. Plus, Mears Connect just got even better with their in-ride entertainment offering!
Mears Connect just announced that its new in-ride entertainment is available now on all of its buses!
Now, they won’t be showing things like Disney movies, it appears, but the in-ride video aims to keep you entertained as you’re on your way to Disney World Resort or the airport, depending on which way you’re traveling.

Mears says that their new video has “brand new exciting content,” so if you’ve been on one of the buses before and seen their video, it’ll be new for you! At this time, it appears this addition is available on Mears Connect Buses, but not Mears Connect Express vans.

If you’re unfamiliar with Mears Connect, this is a paid service that will take you to and from your Disney World hotel and the Orlando Airport. Adults cost $16 each way or $32 round-trip (plus tax), and kids cost $13 each way or $26 round-trip. However, if you’d like to take the Mears Connect Express service, which may sometimes be best for larger parties, it’ll cost you $238.10 for up to 4 people, or $52.38 (plus tax) a person if you have 5+ people. If you’re looking for a private ride that will take you to and from exactly where you need to go with no stops, this is likely the best choice.
