Can you believe it? We can practically count down the days until Epic Universe finally opens!
And as a way to hype us all up for the opening, Universal gave us a first look at some brand-new Epic Universe merchandise. We think we already know which ones are going to fly off the shelves. No matter which land you’re most excited about, there’s something epic (pun intended) waiting for you. Let’s dive in!
Epic Universe-Exclusive Wands and Accessories
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is bringing the magic with an all-new collection of interactive wands, including exclusive designs only available at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique in Epic Universe.
And if you’re the type who wants to customize your wizarding experience, there are plenty of accessories to help you do just that. We expect these to be the must-have items for any Harry Potter fan visiting the park.
Interactive Baby Niffler Toy
Speaking of must-haves, have you SEEN the Baby Niffler toy?
This little guy is not only adorable but interactive. It can move its head right, left, up and down, make chirping, shuffling, and snoring noises, and reacts to a Galleon coin when placed nearby. It’s basically guaranteed to be a hit. This is the next big thing for your theme park collection.
Super Star Popcorn Bucket
You can’t have a theme park visit without a fun popcorn bucket, and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD is delivering with the Super Star Popcorn Bucket.
It’s perfectly shaped like the iconic invincibility star, and already looks like the perfect popcorn bucket to have. We’re calling it now—this is going to sell out quickly when Epic Universe opens.
1-UP Mushroom Sippers
If you’re grabbing that Super Star Popcorn Bucket, you might as well complete the set with a 1-UP Mushroom Sipper.
These are shaped just like the classic power-up mushrooms from Mario, making them a perfect (and practical) way to stay hydrated while exploring the park.
Crossbody Egg Carrier with Plush Dragon
Over in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, guests will get the chance to “adopt” their very own dragon, and Universal is making it extra adorable with a crossbody egg carrier.
This little bag holds a plush dragon inside, making it one of the most unique (and cutest) souvenirs we’ve seen so far. Expect to see a lot of these walking around the park.
Toothless Loungefly Backpack
And, if you need a new Loungefly backpack, get ready! Universal is launching an all-new Toothless Loungefly Backpack, and it’s bound to be a bestseller.
Toothless is already one of the most beloved DreamWorks characters, and the combination of Loungefly’s quality and the dragon’s cuteness is a guaranteed win.
Bitty Monsters Collection Plushes
Dark Universe is bringing the adorable side of horror with the Bitty Monsters collection.
These plush versions of classic Universal Monsters, like Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, and The Wolf Man, are cute enough to cuddle but still packed with monster movie nostalgia. If you’re into classic horror but want something on the softer side, you’ll have to check these out.
The Wolfman Backpack
Last but definitely not least, Universal is going full-on retro horror with The Wolfman Backpack.
This one is perfect for any Universal Monsters fan who wants to show off their love for the classics. It’s a cool mix of creepy and stylish, and we have a feeling it’ll be one of the standout merch items from Dark Universe.
Epic Universe doesn’t open until May 22, 2025, but some of this merchandise has already started showing up at shop.universalorlando.com. So, if you can’t wait, be sure to check online for any early releases.

I went to Universal Studios Orlando back in November and one of the souvenirs I grabbed was the interactive baby niffler. I’m in love with the nifflers from the Fantastic Beasts series and I couldn’t pass on getting it when I was there. If you’re a fan of them, grab it while you can or else they’ll be selling out of them like crazy once they open Epic Universe.
I think the Newt Scamander Backpack should be added to this list. There are many threads on reddit discussing this item and many have already sold on ebay.
