NEWS: Ride Closure Revealed for Harry Potter Land at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando has a LOT going on right now, what with the upcoming opening of its new theme park, Epic Universe.

Yes, we’ve talked a lot about Epic Universe, which will bring five new themed lands to Universal Orlando. One of those new lands is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. However, there’s also a Wizarding World land in Universal’s Islands of Adventure — and one of the rides there, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, is set to temporarily close soon.

In case you’ll be visiting Universal Orlando soon, we wanted you to know that on April 9th, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will temporarily close for what we assume is just normal maintenance.

The rest of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is still set to remain open in both Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida, so you’ll still have an opportunity ride those other rides, including Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

However, if you are planning a trip to Universal Orlando in April, you’ll want to keep this ride closure in mind. Note that the The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle show will also be closed during this time.
