Marvel fans have been assembling on a random Wednesday afternoon, and for good reason! Is this the most epic reveal we’ve gotten from Marvel since…we don’t know when?!

Wednesday March 26th, early noon. That’s when it happened, the notification that Marvel was going live with a MAJOR announcement! Fans from all over the world were tuning in with over 25,000 watching on Instagram, and over 100,000 on YouTube. What’s the news?
We don’t know who was up to this! Kevin Feige? The Russo’s? Doesn’t matter, we’re freaking out over it. We officially just got part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast revealed! The very end of the live stream said, “Avengers: Doomsday now in production”. Ok wait, let’s back up, to the very beginning. Oh this is going to be GOOD!

Ok, let’s break the live stream down. Once it started, someone walked out with an actors chair. The back of the chair had the name, Chris Hemsworth, who is known in the MCU for his role as Thor. Everyone who was tuning in started asking questions. They were wondering if the announcement was maybe a new Thor movie. And, that was it — all that remained on the screen was this chair with Chris Hemsworth’s name on it.

About 15 minutes or so had passed, the questions kept flooding the live stream. Then, out of nowhere, music started to play. As the music played, the camera panned to the chair next to it — that chair read, Vanessa Kirby. Vanessa Kirby is set to play Invisible Woman, in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Fantastic 4: First Steps. Questions continued to roll out like, “is Thor in the new Fantastic Four movie?”.

Then it happened again! 15 minutes passed, music played, and the camera panned, Anthony Mackie (Captain America in Captain America: Brave New World). This continued every 15 minutes or so, for about 5 hours! We were getting characters old and new, revealed one after the other.

Let’s take a look at which actors and actresses were revealed, and who they’ve played in the past:
- Chris Hemsworth (Thor in many MCU projects)
- Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman in Fantastic Four: First Steps)
- Anthony Mackie (Captain America in Captain America: Brave New World)

What a list of names! As the live stream came to an end, the Avengers theme began playing. A door opened with a shadowy figure coming to sit down on the final chair, as he got closer you could see who it was, Robert Downey Jr.

Wow! Many Marvel fans are filled with excitement, shock, and obviously more questions. Avengers Doomsday is truly going to be an epic film. The crazy part, this obviously isn’t half the cast. Some notable chairs were missing for Hulk, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman.

Regarding the original X-men, since the third movie rewrote way too much, (and killed off Cyclops.). I am very happy to see that James Marsden is mentioned, but they don’t mention Famke Janssen, so I guess Jean Gray is officially dead or it’s an alternate universe… or it’s in the past and she’s vacationing with Storm (since Halle Berry is missing as well) etc, etc, really… anything goes with these movies. I really wish these action movies would start thinking about plot and ideas and storytelling, and not just action action action, gets really boring.
