No matter what, it seems like Disney Parks continue to thrive, especially here in the U.S.

In a recent earnings call, Disney revealed that its revenue had increased from the end of 2023 to the end of 2024. Today, during a Shareholders meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke a little more about domestic theme park attendance, as well as price increases.
During the Q&A session of the shareholders meeting, Iger was asked about how the domestic theme parks are doing. He mentioned that he had just visited Disney World recently on a weekday and it was busy across all property.

He commented that consumer demand for the parks and resorts is “extremely high” as is the value the company offers. He said the value is “tremendous” when you compare that with sporting events and concerts.
He also mentioned that the new lands and rides Disney has planned for both Disney World and Disneyland will provide capacity and even more value to guests with expansion efforts ongoing. He also said that Disney is currently designing and building more today than at any other point since the company had been in the theme park business.

Iger also said that he appreciates how the parks create lifelong memories for families and that there are several options for families who want to spend less. He mentioned the lowest-priced ticket to Disneyland has been kept at the same level since before 2020 — the company also tripled the number of days that option is available.

Someone is living in an imaginary bubble…
Re-evaluate AFTER Epic Universe opens! The attendance will plummet!
Attendance will be down…but not plummet. The new Universal Park will temporarily siphon off WDW quests, but only for a season. Universal and Disney quests are quite different.
I don’t know how the guy can compare WDW with a concert or sporting event. Sure it Could compare if you had to wait a couple hours to watch a set of downs or a could me of innings or a couple songs or had to make a reservation to get a hot dog or a beer or stand in line for 45 minutes to get a popcorn. What bothers me about it is he is out of touch. At least show a little concern for what guests have to go through and not try and imply if you add a couple new rides it will make your day easier. Better yet try and actually shorten those lines.
