The Shoes That Allow Us to Walk 10 Miles a Day in Disney World

Walking around Disney World is no joke, and we say all the time that having the right shoes is extremely important.

There’s nothing worse than ending your first Disney World day with blisters on your feet that make walking throughout the rest of your trip painful. We asked the AllEars team what shoes they recommend for their Disney World days, which often consist of walking 10+ miles, and here’s what they had to say!

We had multiple people say that Tevas are their ultimate go-to!

Notice Emma and Fry in their Tevas!

These are Emma’s favorite shoes, and Fry Bucket loves them as well. Emma actually recommended them to me (hi, JP here!) as well, and even though I normally can’t stand open-toed shoes, they’re super comfortable for me as well! Plus, if it rains, they dry off super quick.

Quincy, however, loves her Chacos, and it’s very rare you’ll see her in anything different!

Quincy has said that the different fit of these work better for her than Tevas, while Emma has said the opposite! We highly recommend going to a brick-and-mortar store and trying them on first to see if they’re for you before purchasing them — they could be perfect, or you may prefer to look for something else!

Angie is a big fan of her Hokas!

Fry has also said that if she’s doing a more intense video, such as a ride challenge around all four parks, she’ll also choose to wear her Hokas instead. These shoes are expensive, but they’re known for being incredibly supportive and comfortable, and are great for those who walk around the parks as much as our team does.

One of our offscreen Disneyland reporters shared that her favorite shoes when it comes to sandals are OOFOS!

These fit more like slides, so again, for some people, they’ll be fantastic, while others may dislike the fit. Trying them on and walking around a bit in a store at first is likely your best bet to see if they’re the right fit for you.

These also aren’t cheap, but again, it’s thanks to their great reputation. People love them for their style, their comfort, and their durability, so when you invest in this shoe, you know they should work for you for a while!

Don’t miss them!

Sage’s go-to shoes for any occasion are the Soulsfeng High Top Running Shoes!

Sage loves that these are breathable, comfortable, and you get a form-fitting feel without needing to mess with laces. Plus, characters in the parks actually comment on them all the time, so it’s a great way to get a character interaction going if you’re not totally sure what to say!

Another popular response from our team was adidas Cloudfoam Sneakers!

These are more affordable than some of the other options we’ve talked about, which is a bonus in the cost area, but we do really love the quality of them as well. These shoes are known for being lightweight, and they come in a ton of color variations.

Now if you’re looking for something that will really withstand the elements and be waterproof, you’ll want to grab the Merrell Agility Peak 5s!

These are great if you know the trip you’re about to go on is going to be rainy, but they’re also incredibly comfortable and supportive. Plus, if you enjoy being outdoors, these are great for hiking, long walks, and more.
