Some Disney World hacks can save your vacation. This one, in particular, could save you hundreds of dollars.

We visit Disney World every day, and our experiences have led to us discovering some pretty great hacks, especially at the Disney World hotels. While we’ve accumulated many hotel tips over the years, there’s one that feels kinda illegal — but that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop doing it!
Disney World offers different tiers for its hotels, including Value Resorts, Moderate Resorts, and Deluxe Resorts. Unless you’re ready to shell out the big bucks, Value Resorts are a great way to save money, but often you’re sacrificing quality. However, with this hack, you can kind of have your cake and eat it too.

If you’re looking to save a pretty penny but enjoy the offerings of a Deluxe Resort, you can actually stay at a Value Resort and spend your non-sleeping hours at any Deluxe Resort.
So while you’re paying room rates for Disney World’s cheaper hotels, you can still enjoy restaurants, special atmosphere, free transportation, and more at the pricer hotels.

Keep in mind that you won’t get the same perks as a registered Deluxe Resort guest, such as pool access. And, of course, you won’t have the same room experience. However, if your intention is to explore Disney World outside of your hotel room, this is a great way to experience the pricier hotels without tying yourself to those hefty room rates.

One of our favorite Deluxe Resorts to visit is Disney’s Riviera Resort, which offers wonderful dining experiences like Topolino’s Terrace and Le Petit Café. It also offers Disney Skyliner access, making it easier to get to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, check out Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, which offers unique theming, views of real-life safari animals, and outstanding dining options like Jiko and Sanaa.

If you’re dead set on gorgeous views, we highly recommend heading over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and having dinner at California Grill or grabbing drinks at the accompanying lounge and then catching a spectacular view of the nighttime fireworks from Magic Kingdom, which is only a short distance away.

If you want a getaway during your getaway, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers island vibes for days and owns a bit of history (this is where John Lennon signed the paperwork that officially broke up the Beatles). Just hop on the monorail, head over to the Polynesian, and check out super solid dining options like ‘Ohana and Capt. Cook’s.
