Disney World is known for its iconic snacks, delicious restaurants, and sweet desserts but they aren’t all worth your money. We’re breaking down the 4 meals that we think are worthless in Disney World starting over in Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom

First on our list is a bit controversial so go easy on us! Be Our Guest is just not worth it to us and we aren’t sorry. This table service restaurant serves up French-inspired cuisine inside the Beast’s Castle from Beauty and the Beast.

We love the themeing and atmosphere at this table service but it’s quite pricey! The food is only okay for what you’re paying in our opinion. This spot also used to offer a quick service breakfast and a meet and greet with the Beast, both of which have been removed.

The Beast roams the restaurant

The Beast only roams through the restaurant now which can be a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, unfortunately. Unless you’re a massive fan of the film, the dining option just isn’t worth it. Also in Magic Kingdom, we think the Columbia Harbour House Trio Platter is worthless (and we can’t believe we’re saying this.)

Columbia Harbour House

Columbia Harbour House is a quick service in Liberty Square that offers chicken, seafood, and sandwiches! We love this spot and we previously used to love the Trio Platter. It comes with fried shrimp, fish, chicken, hush puppies, and your choice of a side.

The old Trio Platter

This used to offer a hearty portion of each protein but now only offers 1 piece of fish, 1 piece of chicken, and 3 shrimp. The worst part? The price didn’t change! It will still cost you $14.29 for less food. For now, we’ll be sticking with our salmon from here instead.

Over in EPCOT, we think almost any table service meal is worthless during a festival! EPCOT has several festivals that rotate throughout the year. Each festival brings different food, drinks, entertainment, merchandise, and more.

EPCOT

Each festival has different food booths throughout the park that offer up several small plates and drinks which we have found to enjoy even more than some of the EPCOT restaurant offerings.

Eating at festival booths allows you to save some money and sample more which is always our goal when heading to EPCOT. While there are good table service restaurants, we don’t love taking up too much park time for a sit-down meal.

That being said, there are good times to head to a table service restaurant but unless we just need to sit down, we’re going to choose the festivals! Finally, we think full-sized adult meals are worthless.

Now we just made a huge blanket statement so we’ll clarify that not all adult meals are worthless. However, there are some kids meals in Disney World that are just as big as the adult meals and cost less.

The San Angel Kid’s Meal

Some of our favorites include the tacos at San Angel in EPCOT, the breakfast bowl and turkey sandwich at Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios, and the Tip Yip at Docking Bay 7 in Hollywood Studios. It’s a great way to save some money or even focus on lighter portions if you’re considering that while you’re on vacation.

So are these meals legitimately worthless? Not necessarily. If you like any of these options, you can go on liking them! For us though, they just truly aren’t worth it when you consider the alternatives. As always, keep following AllEars.Net for more Disney tips and tricks.
