Things are about to get even more epic at Universal Orlando!
In less than 100 days, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, will open on May 22nd. This theme park will be home to five themed areas, including Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk.
Universal, as well as other theme park fans, have been getting teased with sneak peeks of this new park, and you are going to want to see the latest video that was captured!
While we are super excited about all the new areas that will be part of this new park, there will be an incredible meet and greet located at How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk.
Here, you will be able to meet dragons and even see them fly. The Viking Village will feature “30 animated and static dragons, representing 17 unique dragon species throughout the world.”
We’ll get to meet dragons and see them fly! “The Viking village features 30 animated and static dragons, representing 17 unique dragon species throughout the world.” While we knew that this would be part of the park, our jaws dropped when we saw this video.

The user @wallin_ballin on X shared a video captured by @WESH Dart of one of the animatronic dragons in action! If you did not know, Dart is a child of Toothless. You can even see this Epic Universe Team Member trying to hype up Dart for the camera to show off its skills!
It is crazy to see the range of motion of this animatronic figure, and it is hard to believe that visitors will be able to get up close to meet Dart and other dragons rather than just seeing them from a ride vehicle.
We are so excited to check out How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk as well as the other four themed areas of Epic Universe when the park opens this May! So make sure to stay tuned with us here at AllEars!
