We are going to be able to MEET Donkey Kong!? Say what? The opening of Epic Universe can’t come soon enough!
Universal revealed a few more details about what to expect in Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe, including additional dining and shopping options and the chance to meet Donkey Kong!
We are getting closer to the opening of Universal’s brand-new theme park, Epic Universe, on May 22nd, 2025. We can’t wait to explore everything, but we just got some new details about Super Nintendo World that we need to share with you.
Universal shared a new dining and shopping option located in Donkey Kong Country in Super Nintendo World. Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy will be available to purchase all your jungle essentials, and you can also stop by The Bubbly Barrel for a sweet treat.
Additionally, Universal confirmed that a Donkey Kong meet and greet will be coming to Donkey Kong Country. The famous gorilla will be meeting guests at Donkey Kong’s Treehouse, and we are so excited. There will also be a Rambi activity to check out.
Super Nintendo World is just one of the five themed lands that will make up Epic Universe. There will also be Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
