Are Egg Prices in Disney World Impacted by Inflation?

Disney World has already seen price increases in 2025.

Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom

Ticket prices have increased from 2024 with some days seeing an $11 increase per ticket. In October 2024, we saw price increases at multiple restaurants across Disney World. With inflation increasing all around the country, there is one food in particular that is so commonly used at Disney World restaurants, that it had us thinking about whether we will see more price increases this year.

Egg prices have been a big conversation recently. According to the Associated Press, Bird flu is forcing farmers to slaughter millions of chickens a month, pushing U.S. egg prices to more than double their cost in the summer of 2023.

Akershus Breakfast

The average price per dozen nationwide hit $4.15 in December. The Agriculture Department predicts prices are going to soar another 20% this year. And since eggs are so commonly used in dishes and served alone at Disney World, will we see menu prices for those items rise?

Bacon & Eggs

We recently told you that over the last 10 years, the prices for popular snacks have increased by more than 60%, whereas inflation has increased by 32% over the same period. The data shows that food costs have risen by a higher percentage than the cost of a single park ticket — which has increased by around 56%. So we could see prices increase once again.
