Reopening Dates Announced for TWO Iconic Disneyland Attractions

Closures and refurbishments are pretty common at Disneyland Resort, as well as Disney World. We know it’s a bummer to miss out on some of your favorite attractions on your trip, which is why we want to let you know ASAP when they’re expected to open back up.

We’ve got great news for Disneyland goers — it’s just been confirmed that the Disneyland Railroad and Disneyland Monorail, which both began a refurbishment in early January, will reopen on March 7th!

On the Disneyland website, it currently confirms that the Disneyland Monorail closed for refurbishment on January 6th. While it doesn’t state an opening date, if you move the calendar out to March 7th, operating times begin to appear!

Meanwhile, the Disneyland Railroad began its refurbishment on January 13th and is set to reopen on the same day — March 7th.

This means that both attractions will have been closed for refurbishment for just about two months, which isn’t terrible, all things considered. However, the closure of the Monorail does make getting from Downtown Disney to the park a little less easy, but thankfully, it isn’t far to walk.
