Disney live-action films have become quite a subject of debate. Some people love seeing a reimagined version of their favorite story, while others prefer to stick with the classics. As for us? Well, we’re pretty torn down the middle about them, too.
A live-action remake of a beloved Disney film is about to hit the screen fairly soon and it has been a BIG conversation topic here at AllEars HQ. We were pretty solid on our feelings about it, but after watching the newest teaser, we’re honestly rethinking the whole thing.
Disney has released another official teaser trailer for Lilo & Stitch, giving us a full look at what live-action Stitch looks like and honestly…we’re not mad about it!

The teaser trailer fools viewers into thinking it’s focused on the live-action The Lion King (or the upcoming prequel film, Mufasa) when Stitch appears on screen, lifted up into the air just like Simba in the original movie.
Stitch then jumps down onto the ocean shore splashing the screen with water and revealing the movie’s official logo.
This teaser truly made us giddy, and trust us, we weren’t expecting that kind of reaction. But for those of us who were there when the original Lilo & Stitch film was being promoted, we remember the fun teasers that had Stitch interrupting classic scenes from Disney animated films, including The Lion King!
This nod to arguably the best marketing campaign for any film (we will die on that hill) brought out an unknown excitement from us and now we’re very much looking forward to the film’s release.
When the first look at live-action Stitch was shared back at D23 (“The Official Disney Fan Club”), many fans, including us, were very skeptical. But now, upon watching the teaser, we’re happy to see that the same silly vibes of Stitch that we know and love will continue in this live-action version. Plus, he is kinda cute, we have to admit.
