If you’ve ever been to EPCOT for the holidays, you may be familiar with the Candlelight Processional. The Candlelight Processional is an evening show at the American Adventure Pavilion that is performed for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. A celebrity narrator tells the original Christmas story while a large choir and orchestra play amazing Christmas carols to go along with the retelling. It’s quite a performance to behold, and getting to see the various celebrities Disney brings in is lots of fun.
On your visit, you may get to see people like Josh Gad, Ashley Eckstein, Neil Patrick Harris, or others. It’s really cool getting to see some of your favorite actors and singers live on stage, but have you ever wondered what it means to them to get to perform for us? Well, one celebrity shared a heartfelt message about his time in the 2024 Candlelight Processional.
Tituss Burgess was the celebrity narrator at the 2024 Candlelight Processional from December 8th to December 10th. This was his first year being a narrator for the moving performance, and it clearly had a monumental impact on the actor and singer.
He took to Instagram to share how 23 years ago, he worked at Disney World and saw the Candlelight Processional, and now he was one of the celebrities to perform in the show. He appeared to be in awe of his own achievement and how meaningful it was for Disney to choose him.
He also shared a fun video of how amazingly perfect everything at Disney World is down to the mayonnaise he squeezed on his food at his hotel. He stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge during his time there, which we LOVE!
Speaking of staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Tituss also shared this adorably funny clip of him singing to the first zebra he’s ever seen right outside his hotel room! Um, if we woke up to Tituss Burgess serenading the wildlife we would never leave our rooms.
It’s lots of fun getting to see celebrities in Disney World, but getting an inside look at what it means to them to be part of the magic is even more special.
