Prizes fit for a princess!

As hard as it is to believe, 2024 is nearly over, and the 2025 series of runDisney events is just around the corner. Now, we have our first look at the medals from February’s upcoming Princess Half Marathon Weekend!
Taking place from February 20th to the 24th, the event will bring “participants on a fantastical runDisney journey” where they will “take part in the multi-event weekend as our beloved princesses go up against the wonderfully wicked villains of their stories and where you can realize your own potential along the way.”
As with other runDisney events, the Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be built around three races, plus a challenge.
The Disney Princess 5K Medal features Mulan on one side and her nemesis Shan Yu on the other. To earn the medal, participants will need to “get down to running business” and complete the 3.1 mile race.

The Disney Princess 10K medal features an Aladdin design that incorporates the magic lamp from the film, as well as images of Jasmine and Jafar. According to Disney, runners will need to “beware the hypnotic eyes of (Jafar’s) serpentine staff as you collect your treasure-worthy finisher medal.”

Guests who are able to “avoid cursed spindles” over the 13.1 mile Half Marathon course will earn this “spellbinding finisher medal” that features Aurora and Maleficent.

Finally, those who complete both the 10K and the Half Marathon will earn the Disney Princess Fairy Tale Challenge medal which features Snow White and the Evil Queen.

The 2025 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Presented by Corkcicle is scheduled to take place at Walt Disney World from February 20th to 24th 2025. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news.
