…we get an email we’re not too happy about. If you’re a Disney+ subscriber and haven’t checked your inbox yet, we have some news you may want to know.

In an email sent to Disney+ subscribers, Disney has revealed that the price for their streaming service will officially increase today,  October 17th, 2024 to $159.99 per year. This price increase will reflect the subscriber’s first billing cycle on or after October 17, 2024, with the payment method on file being charged the newly instated price.

Although we were aware that the Disney+ price hike was coming, with so much news flying around daily, it’s hard to keep track of it all. That’s why reminders never hurt  (except maybe when it involves our wallets).

Disney+ has a variety of monthly plan options available, as well as bundles with other streaming services, each with different pricing options. Unfortunately, those monthly costs are also going up.
