McDonald’s is going to be VERY crowded tomorrow. The iconic fast food chain is bringing back one of its most iconic Happy Meal items… for a LIMITED TIME starting October 15th.
The seasonal Boo Buckets are BACK. The trick-or-treat buckets have been an on-and-off staple at McDonald’s since they were first introduced to replace Happy Meal boxes during the Halloween season back in 1986.Â
The initial run of Boo Buckets ran from 1986 until 2016. McDonald’s first brought the buckets back in a nostalgia capacity in 2022 and they’ve been an annual offering since.
There are some differences to the 2024 Boo Buckets compared to past years. For starters, while the white, orange, and green colors have returned, a blue option has replaced the purple bucket that was available last year. In addition, the designs on this year’s buckets have been simplified a bit, replacing the recognizable monster designs (Monster, Skeleton, Mummy, and Vampire) with more generic designs that can be customized with included stickers.
The buckets will be available while supplies last, and can ordered with hamburger, cheeseburger, 4-piece and 6-piece Chicken McNugget Happy Meal options. Each Happy Meal comes with either a side of fries or apple slices and a drink.
