It’s always a sad day when we have to say goodbye to a legend, especially one who contributed to the Disney community.
We’ve recently had to say goodbye to some beloved celebrities in the fandom community, but now we’ve got to add one more to that list. Ken Page has sadly passed away.
Actor Ken Page was known for several Broadway roles, including parts in The Wiz, Cats, and Les Misérables. But to Disney fans, he was the iconic voice of Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Fox 2 reports that the actor passed away on Monday at age 70. He was acting on stage as recently as this past summer. The St. Louis native majored in theater in college.
We send our condolences to his family, friends, and fans, and we thank him for his incredible performances on stage and on screen.
