However, you also need to figure out transportation. Well, if you plan on flying to Disney World, which, more than likely, means flying into Orlando International Airport, you now have a few new nonstop options.

Orlando International Airport announced the following new nonstop flights during the month of September 2024.

Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines
  • New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (starting on October 27th)
  • Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia (starting on November 14th)

If you do travel through Orlando International Airport, you’ll need to know how to get to and from Disney World. You have several options, including renting a car, getting a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or booking a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect driven by Sunshine.

Keep in mind that Orlando International Airport is also one of the busiest airports in the country, so you’ll have to give yourself plenty of time at the airport when you return home: the recommended time to arrive at the airport before your flight is three hours. You can also save time by having TSA PreCheck or using the free MCO Reserve, which allows you to book a time to go through security.
