Halloween Time in Disneyland truly is so special.

From Oogie Boogie Bash to the Halloween decorations you can find all around both parks during the day, not to mention all the special treats and merchandise you can find, there’s so much to explore on your fall trip to the West Coast park. And it looks like that’s just what this Academy Award winner did with her family!

Charlize Theron is a South African and American actress known for her roles in The Italian Job (2003), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and many more. She won an Academy Award for her role in Monster in 2004 and is not only continuing to act in projects but has also stepped further into producing many different upcoming films.

To celebrate the Halloween season, she took a trip out to Disneyland with her family, sharing photos on Instagram with the caption, “It’s not officially spooky season until we hit @disneyland.”

It looks like Charlize and her daughters, Jackson and August, had a great trip exploring Halloween in the parks. Based on the photos, it seems they took an extra special liking to the Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween decorations in Radiator Springs over in DCA, which we totally get — it’s adorable over there!

Celebrities visit the Disney World and Disneyland parks quite often, usually accompanied by a Private Tour Guide (but not always!), which you’ll see wearing plaid vests as they guide their groups around the parks. These VIP Tours certainly aren’t cheap, but it’s a great way for celebrities and well-known figures to make their way around the parks quicker without being recognized and surrounded by multiple lines throughout their day.
