REVIEW: We Tried the EXCLUSIVE Snacks You Can Get at Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash

It’s finally here! The first night of Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure has arrived.

We just went to Oogie Boogie Bash and spent the night checking out everything there is to see and do, including meeting the characters, checking out the treat trails, watching the parade, and eating ALL the food. Speakig of food, we’re coming to you right now with our review of the exclusive snacks you can get at the party.

So let’s head inside the party and get ready to eat. We’re starting with the Poison Apple Churro, which you can find at the churro cart near Goofy’s Sky School, as well as at Señor Buzz Churros for $7.50.

We picked ours up from Señor Buzz Churros. The only difference between this churro and the regular churro is the Granny Smith Apple icing. We found the icing to be a sweet apple flavor that was not artificial tasting at all. There was also a bit of a sour flavor. As for the cinnamon sugar it did not taste any different and was just dyed green.

Next up, we’re going to Cars Land to Flo’s V-8 Cafe to check out a few special party offerings there. First up, we’re giving the Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips for $13.49 a try.

We found the Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips to just be okay. They were really greasy and the garlic was too strong and took away from the taste of the Parmesan. Since the chicken was so greasy, it also made our fries greasy.

We’re also getting the Orange Chicken Strips for $13.49.

The Orange Chicken Strips have a great mix of sweet and spicy flavor from the orange glaze. There is also a nice bit of heat from the aioli, but it is not too strong and does not take away from the glaze. We used the extra glaze and aioli as a dipping sauce for our fries.

Overall, we like the Orange Chicken Strips over the Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips.
