FIRST LOOK at Disney Cruise Line’s NEW Pirates of the Caribbean Bar!

Arghhhh! Are you ready for an adventure?

Open your computers and get ready to put in some PTO — it’s almost time to book a trip on the new Disney Destiny cruise ship! Trips on the Destiny will begin in late 2025, but you can begin booking trips on September 12th, 2024. And now, good luck resisting after this first look at a highly-anticipated bar!

Earlier this year, Disney revealed a TON of details about its heroes versus villains-themed ship. Not only will you be able to hang out in lounges inspired by Cruella de Vil and the Haunted Mansion — this ship is the first to have a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar!

Disney previously announced Cask & Cannon for the Disney Destiny, but now we have a first look at what to expect. Take a look for yourself!

There are so many details to take in here. The ceiling looks like a map the pirates would use to navigate the seas. It also has several knick-knacks and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The new pub is described as “an eclectic yet cozy watering hole furnished with treasures “acquired” (read: pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe.”

You can also spot TVs which makes sense as Disney previously mentioned there will be live televised sporting events here. The best part? It will feature an extensive menu of rare, specialty, and vintage rums, as well as “bootlegged” brews that will be developed exclusively for this bar!

We’re still (not so) patiently waiting for an opening date for the Pirates lounge coming to Magic Kingdom. However, we finally got an opening timeline for that one so we’ll be seeing it sometime in 2025. For now, though, we’re happy to have a first look at the cruise version and know that the ship is setting sail beginning on November 20th, 2025!
