NEWS: NEW Perk Announced for Disney’s Good Neighbor Hotel Guests

There are some pretty big differences between planning a trip to Disney World and planning a trip to Disneyland. One of the biggest differences is the transportation system that takes you to and from your hotel and the parks. In Disney World, this transportation is provided free for stays at Disney World hotels.

However, in Disneyland, many visitors stay at hotels not owned by Disney because those hotels are generally more convenient and often cheaper than Disneyland’s hotels. However, if you’re not within walking distance of the parks, transportation can be tricky. Now, though, it’s become a little easier.

If you’re staying somewhere a little further away from Disneyland, you may want to be aware of the Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) shuttle, which has stops across a large swath of the Disneyland Resort area to take hotel guests in the area to and from the parks. It’s super convenient and cheap: you can get a one-day pass for just $6, a three-day pass for $16, and a five-day pass for $25.

Well, now, you can actually add that transportation to your Disneyland vacation packages. If you stay at any of Disneyland’s Good Neighbor Hotels, you can add ART service to your Disneyland Resort vacation package. You can do this by calling Disneyland’s contact center directly or by contacting your travel agent. Once transportation is booked, you’ll get a confirmation email directly from ART with instructions on how to get your ART passes.

ART also has routes that go to other areas of interest in Anaheim, including many shopping and dining spots, like Anaheim Garden Walk, The Outlets at Orange, and more. You can also use ART to connect to Anaheim Canyon Metrolink Station, AMTRAK, Metrolink, and more.

So, that’s something new to think about when planning your Disneyland vacation. You can generally save a little money by staying further away from the parks, but if you have easy transportation to and from Disneyland, it could be worth it to consider those hotels.

  1. I used ART when I stayed at the Lulu hotel. The bus stop was right out front of the hotel so it was very convenient and the schedule was great. I paid the Senior citizen rate, I think a 5 day pass at the time was $7. I would use ART again if I stay further out from the park entrance.
