We just got some exciting news about the reopening date for some locations at Disneyland Resort!

Disneyland Park

At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we found out that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would be opening on November 15th, 2024, but we just noticed that a few locations in Disneyland Park will be reopening even sooner!

The bridge that connects New Orleans Square with Stars Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been temporarily closed but it is expected to reopen on August 19th, 2024. Currently, guests need to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge through Frontierland, but in just a few days they will also be able to get there through New Orleans Square.

Not only will the bridge reopen, but Davey Crockett’s Explorer Canoes will also be reopening on August 19th. You will once again be able to paddle along the Rivers of America around Tom Sawyer Island.

As well, the restrooms near Hungry Bear Restaurant are scheduled to reopen on August 19th, 2024.  Hungry Bear Restaurant is currently closed as it is being transformed into Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, but soon you will be able to use its restrooms once again.

There is going to be a lot reopening at Disneyland Park on August 19th, but there are still some areas that are under construction. The Disneyland Railroad is still temporarily closed, as well as The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pooh Corner and The Briar Patch. However, with the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on November 15th, 2024, we are hoping to see more of these reopen as well.
