ALERT: A New Restaurant And MORE Are Coming To Disney’s 13-Year-Old Cruise Ship

Have you ever wanted to set sail on Disney Cruise Line?

Disney Cruise Line

Now might be a good time to start looking into it. First, Disney keeps revealing new details about some of its new ships. For example, the Disney Treasure will have a Haunted Mansion bar, and the Disney Adventure will set sail from Singapore. However, some of Disney’s existing cruise ships are getting some love, too, and now we’ve got details on some new updates coming to the Disney Dream.

The Disney Dream is spending its summer season in Europe, but when it arrives back to its home port in Fort Lauderdale this fall, it will have some NEW updates, including some updated spaces for kids. The Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka “WEB,” will be headed to the Oceaneer Club with the Marvel WEB Workshop. Here, kids can test new suit prototypes for Spider-Man and take part in training simulations. The Avengers will also pop in from time to time.

The Dream’s tween club, Edge, for kids 11-14, will move to Deck 5 with some new updates. There will be access to an outdoor deck with a ball pit and new exclusive recreational games. It will also include a club lounge and dance floor.

The Dream will also debut a new suite in its funnel, the Dream Tower Suite. The all-new two-story suite will be themed to Fantasia, particularly The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. New features will feature an art deco motif that will “immerse guests in Sorcerer Mickey’s magic, including celestial-inspired surroundings, carpet design inspired by flowing water, and a chandelier reminiscent of his famous control of the waves.”

The Dream will also feature a new Concierge Lounge of Herculean proportions. The expanded Concierge Lounge will feature a new area inspired by Hercules and Mount Olympus. “The ethereal lounge will have light, airy details and rich colors inspired by the clouds of Mount Olympus, with hints of bright gold evoking the gates to the kingdom of the gods.”

The spa will also get a “refreshed check-in area” that will also include new treatment rooms. Plus a new quick service dining restaurant, a cantina, will be available on deck 11 featuring tacos, burritos, and bowls.
